Thriving Hispanic Congregations

Thriving Hispanic Congregations is a program resourcing and empowering Latino/a Church Ministries (LCM’s) in the rapidly evolving sociocultural challenges that they face. The program seeks to address these challenges by fostering a community of like-minded congregations (cohorts), providing scholar-ministry-oriented guidance, as well as broadening and assisting in developing a clear sense of their values and mission. Thriving Hispanic Congregations seeks to equip congregations to reflect, articulate, and apply the result of their explorations in support of their ministries, with both funding (grants) and technical assistance.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Each congregation must provide the following:

o Evidence of 501c3 status

o Ecclesial biography

o Leadership structure

o Ministerial context essay

o Mission

o Vision statement

o Statement of purpose
